Jackson solid, but A`s bats stymied by Giants

The A`s were kept off the board for the last seven frames on Friday vs. the Giants and wasted a quality start by Edwin Jackson. Jackson lasted 6 1/3 innings, giving up three runs on four hits and striking out six. But each of the four hits did damage, as the veteran allowed three runs in a start for the first time in an A`s uniform.
